cannot boot windows vista with bootable disc

I have cloned a120gb drive to a 320gb drive, using true image 10 home. When I swap the 120 for the 320 gig drive I am asked for `boot disc and then press any key.` This I do but I get the same message with the flashing cursor. Using windows vista.

I have cloned my system disk; when the source is removed and the target set to master(jumpered) the computer will not boot; message is "disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter". I am using XP Home. What gives?
