Acronis bootable disk works randomly

Thread needs solution

I installed Acronis Home 2011 and then created a bootable disk to do the recovery but once I select the option backup/recovery the process halts (I've waited for up to 1 hr but nothing), the machine I have is a Dell Vostro W7 64bits.

What I had to do was remove the HD and then do the recovery on a different machine (Dell M4500 W7 64bits) using the HD as an external drive and everything work fine but that is not the way I want neither intend to use Acronis (removing the disk for back-up/restore).

I appreciate your feed-back to identify and solve the problem.

Can you describe the sequence of operations you had before the process halted?

I start the lap-top and form the one-time boot menu selecting "start from CD/DVD"; then I select the option "Acronis True Image Home (full version in media)", then I get the screen Acronis True Image Home 2011 but that is teh last thing that appears (image attached).

As mentioned before, I can leave that screen indefinitely but nothing happens, I never reach the main screen once the application is ready and you can select from create, restore, register, tools&utilities.

Please let me know if you need something else.
Thanks!
