Bluescreen when I start/update/deinstall Acronis True Image 09

Thread needs solution

Hi, I just reinstalled Acronis true Image 2009 on my new computer. Fun part is: Now I neither can use it or even get rid of it. Each time I start or try to remove it a BSOD appears "irql_not_less_or_equal".
I am in a dead end and I have no idea what to do. I made a partition backup on my old computer to I'm safe, but now it's completely useless and my clients are waiting for the files.

What can I do? I need those files!! (attached a minidump)

Can you boot to Safe Mode? If yes, then do a System Restore to a point before you installed ATI2009, and try the install again.

But assuming you have two computers (the one which BSODs and the "old computer" with the partition backup on it, I don't know why you can't mount the backup on the old computer, to get the files off from it.

Do you have a backup you can restore prior to the reinstall? Boot the computer on the Acronis recovery CD and restore. This is what backups are for...

Yeah, prob is my old PC is deactivated (Win7) and the hard disk is unbootable. Going to try getting back to the latest point where I installed ATI09.
