Acronis Disk Director Suite v10 & Windows 2000

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have a registered version Acronis Disk Director Suite v10 Build 2288. I need to increase the size of the C: partition by taking space from the D: partition on an old Windows 2000 computer.

1) Does Acronis Disk Director Suite v10 support all versions of Windows 2000
2) The C: partition has only a small amount of space available, probably too small to install Disk Director without uninstalling alot of software. Would I be better booting the PC from a Disk Director CD?

Many thanks,

The DD manual says it supports Windows 2000 SP4. I would try using the DD CD. You can download the ISO file from your Acronis account and create a CD from it (no need to install DD).

It's recommended to create a backup image of the drive before making partitioning changes in case anything goes wrong.
