Backup and Recovery 10 Interface broken

Thread needs solution

Last nights backup failed and it also did not send email notification. When I go to Console > Manage Local Machine > Backup Plans > Edit Backup Plan > Advanced View I find that many of the settings and options that I had set here have disappeared, eg. Email Notification settings, Commands to run before and after backup, etc. I distinctly recall these settings being there when I set it up. When I drill down to the backup task and view settings, it shows that email notifications are configured for this task, however it isn't configured in options > default backup settings, and I can't find anywhere to configure it under backup plan > edit > advanced view.

So in summary, my email notifications tab in backup plan > edit > advanced view has disappearated as if by magicalness. any advice, explanations or abuse openly solicited.

Hi Alex

When editing a backup plan please ensure the destination is not asking to confirm credentials as if it is some of the backup jobs settings will not be available until you do (the reason for this is because depending where you backup to the available options below that section can change).

Another suggestion would be to ensure you are running the latest ABR10 build if you have any further issues.
