Not Backed Up Yet
I have made a series of partition backups (c drive in various stages). Acronis says everythin was backed up but on image says "not backed up yet" even tho the messages says "the backup was completed successfully so on so date".
Did I lose that stage of the partition backup? Can I get it back?
TIA

The file is not in the destination disk either. This is not the first it happened. I wonder if this is a bug in this version?
Oh well, next time I make a backup I'll make sure it shows up in the destination folder before proceeding.
Thanks, Pat L.

Well, if there is no TIB file, there is no backup. When a backup task is not what you want (let's say you want to change the name, the backup scheme, or the backup autocleaning setting), you should create a new task. OK to edit the schedule of a taks.

Since the last upgrade to Home 2011 plus pack # 3 build 6942, I have not been able to back up my system.
It starts out as if it is backing up to the destination with about 12 hours to go etc etc. After a few minutes, the main page shows that it has been completed successfully, however, it has not.
The main page is showing 10.69 GB when my system is over 700 GB. Also, when I access the target drive, there is no back up file there.
I am running Win 7 Ultimate on MX17 Alienware machine
I hope you can help ASAP because as of now I have no system back up...
PS....I have deleted and created new back up jobs each time I try to do a new back up. Still does the same thing

kathy,
Maybe try posting the log file for that backup so we can see the error messages. It might also be worthwhile to check the source disk for errors so as to rule out that possibility. From a command proompt
CHKDSK C: /R
An alternative would be to boot from the 6942 TI Bootable Medial Rescue CD and perform the backup from the CD.

Here is the log for the last back up I tried.....it is saying that the target drive is running out of space??...The target drive is 930 GB avail and the backup size will be less than 800 GB??
Please keep in mind that I was able to do a complete system back up until just recently ;(
The main page still says operation completed successfully.
Hope you can help
tnx...Kathy

You can recheck your task settings regarding space. There is one setting inside the email notifications and probably another in the backup options.
One procedure TI uses is if there is already one backup listed, it will not delete the old backup until the new one has been completed so you always have a space requirement for 2 full backups. A backup normally consumes about 65-70 percent of used space so do you have enough room for 2 backups?
If any of your backup has some large static files, can these files be moved to another storage media to free up some space on your system drive to reduce the backup size?

Hello Grover H
First, I want to thank you very much for helping me out with the problem I was having with backing up my system.
I think the problem may be solved "fingers crossed"...In the "Disk Backup options" and under the Notifications tab, the notification for the free disc space being less than...was set to 920 GB. I have changed this # back to 5 GB now. Since then, the back up did complete correctly woooohoooo
The only thing I can figure is that this # was changed somehow during the upgrade install??
Again, thank you for your help.....problem solved!!!!!
Kathy
