Boot-CD: Mouse only moves if I press any key on keyboard

Hi, I have a very strange problem.

I have Trueimage 2010 and Disc Director 10 on a boot-CD. If I boot with this cd I can see the mouse cursor but cant move it until I press a key. It means I have to press any key on the keyboard permanently or with short delay to move the cursor at the same time.

Has anybody a solution for this?

Sorry, that I did not edit, but it is very important to backup my data because I want to install Windows7.
And if somebody knows what to do please help me :)

Problem is solved. I just had to switch the usb port of my mouse :)
