Acronis Bad Bizz Practices....
Well I just want to vent a minute here but it does seem to me that Acronis bizz is a little deceitful...
Been wanting to do a clone of HD and do some important backup work this weekend so I purchased this morning @ 9 am and it is now 12 noon.
Well the purchase went thru and they got their money but now I have to wait a couple of days to receive. Why is that?
Well OK I thought I will get the trial but it is crippled so I can not clone!!!!!!! This is stupid!!! I am a PAYING customer!!! You should have a way for me receive my software at the time of purchase!
I am finding this unacceptable! This day and time to ask a customer to pay for software and not make it available!!! Would anyone pay for gas only to find out later you cant have it for a couple of days?
If Acronis had disclosed the practice pay now and get it a few days later at the time of purchase I would not have a problem but no info concerning this practice was available at the time of order so it is kinda like a bait and switch situation...Acronis: We would like you to spend your hard earned money with us but we wont tell you that we will decide when and where you can receive it!We would also like you to know once we got your money maybe we will get back to ya! be it a few days or not....
Well Acronis how do you defend yourself here? For this type of practice. You are an International company but you are not prepared to do bizz in a timely manner like other software companies!
But now because of this delay I have been given some time to reflect on my purchase and not being able to use it, hmmm, maybe this gives me some time to find another software to use instead! Looking at this forum it would appear that there are many dissappointed customers here and my purchase may not been the wisest.
Also be prepared to field my call at 8:01 Monday morning concerning this issue as there is NO excuse to make a paying customer wait when it is available at your website! Shameful bizz practice!!!!!
Charles Brown,a Paid in full customer without the working software purchased!!!!!!!!!!! but probably not for long!!!!!

I wouldn't be so anxious to recieve this product! I for one (as well as a lot of users on this forum) have had A LOT of problems with this "new" version of true image home 2012, from install issues that caused me to lose one of my OS's (sadly had NO backup) to BSOD, ERROR codes, etc., the list goes on. Aside from this, the new interface is confusing, and is NOT user (the everyday novice user) friendly! It also lacks the task WIZARDS that made this product (past versions) very easy to use. I sure hope Acronis works out all the bugs that have been troubling a great deal of loyal Acronis users (including myself) to gain their faith and confidence back in them.

Anton,
Looking at the experiences I made with ATIH2012 during the last few days, it is clear to me that you are selling "technical problems" and NOT reliable backup software.
Best Regards,
JoHo

I have to agree to the other posters.
Upgrading to Version 2012 seems easy on the first view but with a new installation it gets worse. The installation does not only need the serial no., it also is recognized as an upgrade and demands the former serial, too. What for? The older one from TrueImage 11 is not accepted...
So this is just lost money and lost time. I can't see any serious business in that.

When the old version is not present it asks for the former serial number to determine you are eligible for the cheaper upgrade license. Makes perfect sense, why it doesn't take a valid TI11 serial doesn't make sense.
