Problems deselecting folders from backup tasks
I am using windows7 / TrueImage 11 and find I cant edit existing tasks to deselect folders from backups. For example I like to backup all "Users" including subfolders in the C drive but since I've got some big iPhone backups in there now I've tried to deselect them but the new task then starts to backup everything - including program files etc etc ! It also seems that even creating a new task has problems if a subfolder is deselected.
I notice some evidence of this in later versions in 2012
Can anyone explain whats going on here and is there any work around.
Thanks

Many thanks for the reply and apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
The exact version shown in "About" from the help menu is :
Acronis True Image Home version 11.0 (Build 8,101) its definitely not ATI 2011
Hope this helps

ATI v11 is not supposed to work with Windows 7, so I am not surprised you have some issues.
There was some folder selection issues in 2011, that were fixed in the last build.
It looks like there are some folder selection issue sin 2012, so I would wait for update 1 (which seems to be coming soon) before trying it.

Thanks once again.
I'll look out for any news on the update and upgrade as soon as possible.
Didn't seem to have any other issues using it on windows 7 so hopefully it will be ok in the meantime.

I am having the same problem with TI 2012 and online backups. I have unselected folders that I don't want backed up, nonetheless the backup includes them anyway.
I also cannot figure out how to clear my backups. The included documentation states:
"The most "drastic" one is deleting the entire backup from a computer on the Online storage."
Though I have done this multiple times, my online storage says I have used over 75 GB of space.
This is so aggravating...and wasteful of my time.

John,
You should contact Acronis support. Some users have had issues when moving from one version to another version of online backup.
