ATH 2012 - Urgent - ATH don't run....everything I try, program stops! unable to make anything!!!

Thread needs solution

Yesterday I purchased Acronis TrueImage 2012. I installed it without problems, activated, but when I open it does not work. It shows the control panel, but whatever I try to use (cloning, backup, etc. ....) the program stops and remains open only the control panel without crashing. When I try to use anything, a Windows DialogBox appears, tells me classic error message "the program has stopped working". I click close, but the ATH control panel remain open and operates regularly .....
I have great urgency to clone a disk full of 1Tb of things of my job, please help me!

If you have registered your 2012 serial number, you can download the bootable media file from your personal Acronis webpage. Then burn the downloaded iso file as an image onto a blank CD.

Boot from the new CD and you can do your clone or backup when performing from the CD.
Hopefully, you have taken the necessary safety steps to create a backup of your data before involving your source disk in a cloning procedure.
The location of the bootable media download is shown in the middle of the picture below.

Thanks for your answer.....but......it's incredible: Purchase a program (which, however, in previous versions has always worked) and I have to do this whole procedure to take advantage of a feature which normally run in a just a few clicks??

In the windows event registry I noticed a specific event that indicated the error in the library "ntdll.dll". This is really strange. I consider that the problem is in the 2012 version of Acronis that probably has some serious bugs. This is because my computer has not undergone any changes since I used the 2011 version of Acronis and 2012.

I really hope that Acronis is working on the problem!

Anyway thank you for your kind response, I hope to find the help desk officer so courteous and helpful like you!

Ok......I apologize......

from the link you gave me I noticed the plug-in BartPE ..... I immediately downloaded and installed and Acronis now works! Even though there is a problem .... if I abort cloning operation (before it started ... of course), the program stops working again.

At least now it works and I can do the long awaited clone.

Thank U Bro!
