Scheduled backup stalls at 75% and fails

Hi,

I've recently installed Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server Small Business Server Edition on a Windows 2003 Small Business Server.

All appears to be setup ok with an incremental backup set to run each evening. The backup starts ok but then stalls at 75% and the only way to get the backup to complete is to restart the services and run a manual backup.

we previously had version 8 of the software installed without any problems.

As far as I understood, you experience the issue with the scheduled backups only. I suggest you to reinstall Acronis scheduler to fix the issue.

- Download a special Acronis utility and save it to the computer with Acronis Agent;
- Start the Command Prompt from Start -> Programs -> Accessories menu;
- Run the following commands in the folder you saved the file to:

schedmgr task zap
schedmgr service stop
schedmgr service uninstall
schedmgr service install
schedmgr service start

You should manage your tasks from the scratch. Execute a backup operation and see if the issue remains.

If the issue still persists, please let us know the location you save the archives to, whether it's on internal, external or network drive.
