nonstop-backup-Logitech BT

Thread needs solution

Hallo,
When using Nonstop Backup and restarting my PC, the Bluetooth-connection to my Logitech Keyboard and mouse (MX Revolution) is lost. I always have to reinstall the mouse and KB- driver/BT-connection.
Also some links from my Favorites in Internet Explorer 8 are gone!
Thanks for help

The problem with IE favorites and non-stop backup is a known one. It's a bug with no solutions.

Just wait for the next version and buy that (it will cost you) and then it might be fixed in that next version (maybe not), although some new bugs will then drive you nuts. This is classic Acronis. Fatal bugs in advertized features that don't get fixed within a version, but new versions keep coming out.

Last version got essentially one interim release around January or later.

Logitech BT mouse conflict

I have big problems under Vista SP2 x64 with a Logitech MX1100 BT Mouse too... I installed the latest version of Setpoint (4.80) and TIH 2010 (Built 6029), because Nonstop Backup stopped without any notice or error message. This causes the System to hang up, when Nonstop Backup ist turned on...

I will try the complete uninstall of TIH 2010 and install the latest Build 6053... we'll see...

I'm using setpoint 4.8 with a BT Keyboard and have TI 2010 6053. This is on XP SP3.

I dont have problems with the keyboard, but I do have significant issues with NSB. I have no reason to think that Setpoint is causing the issue at this point.

Hello all,

I will take care of this situation to get it resolved. To have a complete understanding of your issue I need to gather some additional information.

I have consulted with our experts regarding this issue. We haven't received any requests with Non Stop Backup and bluetooth drivers and I'd really appreciate if you let us investigate this issue and do the following:

-As far as I understand, devices fail to recognize after the reboot, is that correct? If yes, please clarify what exactly are you doing (starting the backup of N partition to D drive and then restart, for example); are you trying to recover something from that backup or the issue occurs after reboot when backup is running?

-Generate system report from a program (by pressing CTRL-F7 combination) in two cases:

  * Before you reboot the PC (Non Stop Backup is running)

  * After reboot (when drivers are missing)

Please check this article for the detailed information on how to collect this report.

-Could you please provide me with the exact sequence of actions that lead to the issue you report, so that I can try to reproduce it?

This issue has been escalated to Development Team as soon as we received first request. Currently, it's fixed in 6053 build for Acronis True Image Home 2010

So please make sure you use the latest build, which is available here. To get access to updates you should first register Acronis software.

Woody, I have answered similar thread related to Non Stop Backup, where I asked to collect some information for investigation. Could you please check my reply in this thread and provide us with the details of the situation you're experiencing?

And please feel free to ask me if something is not clear in my instructions, I'd be glad to help.

Best regards,
