Hallo Forum,

ich habe die vmProtect 6 Appliance installiert und diese läuft auch soweit normal. > ESXi 4.1 <
Probleme gibt es aber mit den VMware Tools die nicht richtig installiert werden. In der Übersicht des vSphere Client steht "veraltet". Die Tools sind aber für alle anderen VMs ok!
Die Folgen sind Probleme beim Herunterfahren und Starten. (Siehe nachfolgend!)

"Fehlermeldung von ESXi Host:
The VMware Tools power-on script did not run
successfully in this virtual machine. If you have
configured a custom power-on script in this
virtual machine, make sure that it contains no
errors. You can also submit a support request to
report this issue."

Hat jemand eine Lösung oder eine Idee was hier falsch läuft?

If I understand you correctly (I don't understand german very well) you are trying to install vmware tools on the Acronis Appliance?

This is not needed, just on the VM's you're backing up.
