Upgrade, Fresh Install, or Wait

I currently have ATIH 2011 installed and it seems to run just fine. At least I am getting regular backups every night without any hassle. I also bought ATIH 2012 a month or so ago when I could get a good deal on it but I decided not to install it until after the first update came out. It's out now and it appears to have addressed the most prevalent issues so I think I'm ready for 2012. My question is should I download a fresh copy and upgrade 2011 or should I uninstall 2011, use the Acronis cleaner to get rid of everything, and install 2012 anew? Or, are there still serious enough issues remaining that I should wait for the next update?

If you read some other posts in this forum, I'm sure you'll be perfectly capable of reaching your own conclusions. FWIW, however, updating without first thoroughly cleaning up any prior Acronis installation(s) would be quite low on my own list of recommendations.
