USB to USB Backups dont work. 2012 is Bad, Very Bad!
I have been a user of Acronis fr several versions and loved it. I wish I hadnt bought 2012 though.
In all my previous versions I have been able to back up a USB drive to a USB drive to store elsewhere.
WIth this version I cant get Acronis 2012 to do USB to USB backups. INternal drives will backup to a USB drive no problem. But if I try to run/create a job I get the follwoing error.
Operation with partition 'L:' was terminated.
Details:
Unable to create volume snapshot (0x70021)

The drives are bothe fine with no errors and notihing has changed on the PC, in 2011 it worked fine in 2012 it doesnt.
I daren't use the clean-up as I have Disk Director Installed as well. I really wish I hadnt bought this I should have saved my money.
Anybody got any suggestions?
Thanks

Was the issue of USB to USB backups ever solved? I have the same issue now backing up a USB attached Drobo to a USB WD 3gb disk.

The articles did not help and I still get the same error every time I try to back up my USB attached Drobo to a USB attached WD 3gb MyBook using Partition mode. Here is the report file as requested.
