DVD
I am a registered and licensed user of Acronis Disk Director and my main WIN-XP SP3 computer which has it installed is out of action and am waiting for a new one to be built.
What I can not get an answer for either by phoning Acronis are asking via e-mail is whether I can buy a DVD for installing in on my new computer before connecting it to the Internet.
I would also like to buy an Acronis True Image DVD which can be used to restore a WIN-XP SP3 Image from an added to the new computer internal WD SATA Raptor from the dead computer like I can now do with NORTON GHOST 9 I am upgrading to Norton Ghost 15 to have all angles covered in future.
I have much installed I do not fancy having to re-install all over again one by one ! :-(

You should be able to download the DD installer from your Acronis account. You can save it to a flash drive or burn it to a CD and use it to install on the new computer. The same goes for TI. Both programs also have an ISO file version you can download from your account. The ISO file can be burned to a CD using any ISO capable burning program (Windows 7 includes built-in support for this) so you can boot into the program without needing to install it first. Otherwise, you can order a Backup DVD when you order the program.

My registered and licensed copy of the Acronis Disk Director is on one of the internal HDs in the out of action computer.
My new computer will not connect to the Internet until after I have partitioned it's 600 SATA WD Veloci Raptor, using some larger FAT32 partitions.
I want a DVD which can be used to install and use it without having to access the Internet or having to create one myself, guaranteed to do the job reliably when required.
I think that I am going to stick with Partition Magic and Norton Ghost, the latter's version 15 having arrived from Amazon today, having used it's version 9 for years.
