ATI & DD & Raid0

Thread needs solution

Hi All

I am a long time user of ATI and DD, I have DD 11 Build 2343 and ATI 2011 Build 6942.

On a Win 7 64 bit system I am setting up a Raid 0 with 2 drives., when ATI and DD are installed they have no trouble seeing the C drive (Raid0), however when I boot into the recover media both cannot see the raid0 drives, only any drives in sata port 5 and 6 which are working in IDE mode.
I have downloaded and tried the latest recovery media builds.

Is there a way to get them to see the raid with the recovery media, in the home versions of ATI and DD.

Thanks.

I had a similar problem with ATI 2011 Build 6942.
The Acronis Rescue Media did not see my RAID5 disk (controller Intel ICHR10 builtin on my MOBO).

I downgraded to build 6868 (download, uninstall, reboot and reinstall) and used the 6868 media builder to make an Acronis Rescue Media. This Rescue Media works fine with my RAID5 disk.
This solved the problem for me.

Now I stay with build 6868.
I hope this can help.

Sorry to say, it did not work, guess your lucky to have drivers for yours in the recovery disk,
Mine is a AMD 950 SB950.

I have an Intel platform. RAID is implemented through the ICH10R southbridge.
Is your RAID0 implemented through the OS or hardware-bios?
If it uses OS, it should work with Acronis Plus Pack.
An hardware solution should work using a BartPE or a WindowsPE disk and an Acronis plug in.
Building this kind of media requires some work.

Hi

I was working on the BartPE, works OK with RAID0 but a bit on the slow side from CD, working out how to get BartPE to USB key so be a little faster.
If anyone from Acronis reads this please get AMD 8xx & 9xx raid driver in the next ATI Home 11 ISO recovery disk build, as I don't what to pay for ATI 12 to get them on the Acronis made recovery media.
