Why no more space to save?
Hi all,
I have the newest Build installed and Windows 7, 64-Bit.
I got the message that Drive-Backup have no more space to handle the task. In the settings, I ticked "oldest backup automatically delete, if no free space in ASZ is available". Why happend this? Is this logical?
Please see my 2 attachments.
thanks,
joschi

so it means.. i have to to sum-up the limit of all my backup-tasks, estimate which of this could be the biggest possible backup, limit the maximum size of this backup to have a sufficient space for one more backup.
A little bit complicated, but I will try.

It's probably a more difficult task for some than for others. There's no way Acronis can know ahead of time what size backup(s) you are going to make or where you are goind to save them. So when you set up ati or any other backup program, you have to do a little planning. If ATI didn't make the backup before deleting the old file, you will still have to provide enough space for the origianl backup to have been created inthe first place. It's jsut a little addition operation to double that size. Mot of us can do that kind of thing in our heads.
