Snap Deploy Trial version trial...
Greetings
Just purchased several HP6200 workstations (W&, x64). In the old x32 XP world, my Ghost image creation and deployment was a snap (excuse the pun). However, that all came crumbling down when I was able to create a W7 image, but the deployment was corrupting the MBR. I worked sevral hours with one of my VAR's top engineers and we could not resolve the issue.
The next day after talking with a commercial rep at the home office, but before paying cash I decided to try the trial version of Snap Deploy.
I can create a master image, but depending on my deployment parameters I either get error messages, or worse, my master image volume on a USB disk is either deleted or corrupted while running the Stand Alone Utility (happened 3x).
My most recent attempt ended with the following error message"E00330027
Error code: 0x33027, Tag 0x100FE7C3207C5474
the text of the error indicated a problem with disk size, which is confusing because I am using matched workstations.
Thanks for listening
CG

Hello,
I am a beginner as well. Wondering if anyone can help me, I'm trying to use the Universal Restore option of Snap Deploy 4 to deploy images to dissimilar hardware. I have a license Key for Universal Restore and have activated the feature within the Acronis software.
The problem I am having is adding the drivers to the deployed image.
My understanding is that the software will search all removable media for drivers and install them, however when I deploy an image the drivers are not installed, I have to manually install them after the image is deployed.
My trial license is up January 3rd 2012 and it would be nice if I could successfully test and image a few machines before then.

Hello C Grove and Sunny,
Thank you very much for your comments.
C Grove, could you let us know more about your deployment parameters and how do you deploy, a step-by-step description with screenshots would be most helpful. Also, we will need to take a look at Acronis report output collected from the source and target machines (after the deployment has finished).
Sunny, what kind of drivers are you adding to the image? You can either add mass storage drivers during the deployment template creation, or during the deployment process itself.
Looking forward to your replies and if you have additional questions please let me know.
Thank you.
