Restore to disimilar hardware - Adobe, Itunes etc need reactivation?
Hello,
I'm going to migrate my C drive data to a new PC using Acronis Home Plus Pack with the Restore to dissimilar hardware process. As a novice at this can anybody tell me whether programs like Adobe Audition, Adobe Dreamweavr and Itunes will need to be reactivated at the end of the process?
If so I'll de-activate them before I start.
Thanks for any help.

I seem to remember the Adobe uses Macrovision copy protection scheme which writes some low level data to the hard disk. You have to deactivate the software before installing it to a new drive so it seems that imagining to a new drive won't work either. My adobe prudcts behaved fine when I used Acronis to reimage the same hard disk.
