Thread needs solution

Hi

I have done a scheduled back up of my C: drive using Acronis True Image Home 2011 to an external drive. It was the 3rd in the series. Acronis is saying the back up was sucessful, but the above error message appeared in the log when this scheduled back up was made. The log says the operation was completed with errors. I am wondering if the back up was successful or if something has gone wrong and I won't be able to restore the back up should the need arise.

Cheers
Anne

Anne,

Somehow the scheduler and or set of scripts have been corrupted. The easiest thing to do is to:
- export your backup settings using the tool area of ATI 2011,
- uninstall ATI 2011, reboot,
- reinstall ATi 2011,
- import your backup settings.

This operation might throw off the auto-cleaning operations until the new chains have gone through a new cycle. As a result, some older TIB files might become orphaned: if the UI of ATI is not showing them to you when you use "explore all versions" or "explore and recovery", just delete them manually when they are old enough.
