Unable to save changes to edited template?

Thread needs solution

I just started using Snap Deploy 4 -- its worlds better than 3! But, I have noticed a rather annoying glitch. I realized there were some changes I forgot to make to the settings in a template I created--when I went to edit it, and click Save, it reverted right back to the original settings when I made the template. I got around this by creating a new template (no big deal) but worth mentioning.

Hello,

I have the same problem, and I reported this issue when I was testing the beta-version.

When you click edit template during deployment it's probably thought that you only want to edit the template for this specific deployment and it's changes are therefore not stored. If you go to action and then template management you will be able to edit a template permanently.

I agree with you though, this is both confusing and anoying.

It's not only the deployment templates, the individual machines settings also face the problem

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your comments.

I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused by this issue. We are aware of it and the fix will be available in Update 1 of Acronis Snap Deploy 4.

As a workaround you can create a new template.

Should you need additional help or have any other questions please let me know.

Thank you.

Hi everyone!

Is there some news about this issue ? Because we bought ASD4 but it's not usable in this state!

Thanks for your answer!
