TI 2012 Clone Settings not correct
In TI 2012 on my laptop for the last several days my TI BU was failing. In TI on the "Backup and recovery" tab I right-clicked on the profile and selected "Clone Settings". All of the settings seemed to be cloned except for the filename. The original filename created was "W700-YYYY-MM-DD.tib". After cloning the filename of my BU is "(2).tib"
When I cloned the settings I expected to clone the filename as well.

Hi once again, jgt
My guess is that the 107GB file was before you edited the task and the backup ran on the existing task as an incremental
After you edited the task, the next backup was a full task. Is 165 abut 65-70% of your used space?
If you double click on the task name and look at the resulting listing of all backups. Hovering the mouse over each backup should identify its type of backup.
You are correct in that the only place the backup file name can be changed is from within the destination folder Most often, editing a task causes the task to lose its bearings and backup consolidations or retention is never correct after the edits.
You may want to start a new task. Are you using the backup name of
W-700-Incremental-%date%-
If you do start a new task, I would place it in a new target folder or sub-folder.

I just created a full BU and the size of the file is 107GB.

Mount the 165 and examine its contents. Is it possible that the 165 includes partitions not included in the 107. What type backup does your examination reveal?

GroverH - Now I have my file names correct (yes W700-Incremental-%date% is what I have in TI after clicking on the destination)) for the task name I have W700-Incremental-yyyy-mm-dd just so I know what the resulting name will be.
Interesting enough for this BU (the one I cloned and now identify as W700-Incremental-yyyy-mm-dd (task name)) TI correctly reports that I have two versions thus it seems that TI has linked the (2).tib and W700-Incremental-2012-01-27.tib files together. When I view "Explore and recover" as you have in your image I see the first TIB file was created at 1739 hours (Full) and is 107 MB, the second file was created at 1832 hours (Incremental) and is 165MB (the size of the file is what I see in Windows Explorer).
Previously I reported the size of one of the files as 165GB, I goofed it should have been 165MB.
For me the way TI displays or lack of display the files associated with a task is SUPER confusing. The developer of this must like to inflict pain on people.
