Raid-0 will not recover for me
I just purchased your True Image home software and I am trying to re-image a new hard drive in my 2-drive raid-0 array that was having a system error.
The method I took to backup and install.
Before removing the hard drive showing the error,
1- I used Acronis to back up my C-drive to an external 1tb hard drive.
2- I shut down my computer and replaced my (error) drive with a new one.
3- I started my computer and entered my raid controller and re-configured the new drive with my second existing to a new raid configuration, saved and exited and inserted my Acronis disc before shutting down.
4- I restarted my computer and ran my Acronis recovery software and tried to recover my C-drive, but I could not see my raid configuration in the list (then I remembered that when installing windows I needed a driver to see said the raid configuration).
5- So I removed the Acronis disc and inserted my Windows install disc and re-installed windows to add the driver hoping that when I ran Acronis, it would see the drives the next time I ran the recovery.
6- (after the Windows Install) I re-ran the Acronis program and this time the (raid-0) drives did show up so I went thru the steps to recover my OS from the Acronis image file off of my external drive to my c-drive (raid-0).
7- It seemed to do its thing and recover, but when the bar graph completed and the system rebooted, I am getting an “unable to load windows type screen” instead of going into my operating system.
It has been two weeks of no sleep and extreme frustration trying to get this to recover my raid configuration, can you please help me.
I’m at my wits end,

Your recovery CD needs to see your RAID volume correctly. You cannot restore otherwise. A workaround is to install the Plus Pack (paid for) and create a WinPE based recovery disk. That disk uses windows drivers and should work.

Where do I find the PLUS PACK? does it come with my software? and are there instructions on creating the WinPE based recovery disc?
Thanks ahead of time,

I finally gave up and re-installed EVERYTHING last night, never got the recovery to work. now I have a new set of issues that I'm working thru where my Raid doesn't always correctly load and insert windows repair disc keeps popping up randomly around 50% od the time. but thats for a different discussion. I did backup twice with windows image and twice with acronis because I dont want to fresh install ever again.
