Can´t Stop Backup-plan

It happens to us somewhat frequently. Sometimes restarting the services helps, but usually they can't be restarted. If that happens, we kill all Acronis related processes from task manager, then restart the services. It takes maybe 5-10 minutes for them to start up again, you get a warning and can't launch the console until they are done. When nothing works, we zap the tasks and recreate them. We do it often enough to have copy of the backup jobs handy. There is a knowledge base artickle on doing that - search for "zap task". Also, if you have a taks pending like that and need to restart your server, it may hang while waiting for the task to finish. The most I waited was couple of hours. I am making sure that Acronis services are stopped before restarting servers with Acronis installed. Hope that helps...

Thx for your help. But i restart the server twice. I kill all acronis tasks and restart them but nothing is working.
I think the next i do is uninstall the managment console from the server and install it again.
I do not understand the sense behind it if you can not finish a task of hand.
