Certification server error

Thread needs solution

Let me say, that Acronis True Image is a great product for local backup, however with online backup there is major certification issue. If you receive message "the certification server is unavailable", that means you are not able to retrieve info about you online backup. In my case is a firewall on my router. I followed instructions from knowledge base and forwarded following ports:55556; 44445, 443. But this applies to previous versions of True Image. For version 2012, port that is being used for server certification is selected random! (that what I was able to dig out from some other article). That means I will have to disable firewall on my router in order to use Online backup feature.

Is there any solution to this problem?

Conceivably you could scan traffic insted of blocking it, whcih would be slower but would provide you protection without blockig access to the cloud.

Or, perhaps, making the ati modules exceptional progs in you security software would suffice to keep its activity from being blocked.
