Thread needs solution

Once I download the program I am not able to enter safe mode in window xp because of fltsrv.sys is not loading and cause safe mode not to open

Even if you uninstall the program there are left over files which still cauae the same problem if you try to remove these file you can not restart your computer at all

Merely downloading the program shouldn't have any effect on your software set up. If you mean that you have a problem after installing ati2012, then try uninstalling, run the clean-up then reinstall.

Before doing any of this, use msconfig to avoid prog conflicts during install:

2012 ATIH version I am getting a BSOD "but only on boot up from Safe Mode." BSOD Error message listed Snman380.sys as the cause. I searched that file and it pointed directly back to Acronis! My computer boots fine when starting up normally (not Safe Mode) thank goodness. Only happens in Safe Mode. How was I to figure that out that BSOD problem happens with Safe Mode only, before the free 30 day tech support ran out eludes me and makes me very angry that I now have to pay to get technical support for bug in their program!!!

Works on my machine(c). Snman380 ( i.e. snapman version 380 ) seems to be too old for Home 2012. Maybe it's a leftover from previous versions. Where is it listed in windows registry?

fltsrv.sys is an Acronis file, iirc. If a driver is not located where it should be, I'd try the uninstall/reinstall routine.

I don't have my ati2012 machine in front of me so I cant check if it's used in the current version or a leftoever from a previous version, which could mean that slightly more extensive surgery is needed, but I'd try the uninstall/reinstall first. It doesn't take long and might be all that you need.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your comments and your help Scott and dev-anon.

Leslie, I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience. I would like to help you with this issue.

You can completely uninstall the program by using Acronis True Image 2012 Home clean up utility.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
