I have the same issue with Acronis Backup and Recovery 11 Trial after installing the product on a Windows 2003 server. Has a solution to this problem been found?
Thanks

Hello Rick and Tim,
Thank you for your comments. Let me help you with your questions please.
Crash issues are very system specific that is why we need to investigate each case separately. The best way to get this working is through our Support team.
I would really appreciate if you could contact us with the following diagnostic information:
1. AcronisInfo.
2. Crash dumps.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

Not "system-specific" at all. I tried to install the "ABR11S_trial_en-US.exe" downloaded today on three separate Windows 7 x64 systems, one of which was a clean-from-the-DVD install! They all crash when you try to launch the management console with the error below.
I'm trying to evaluate your product for an enterprise deployment, but I have to say, I don't have time to diagnose basic compatibility with freshly installed systems for you. Did you even test this thing at all before release?

Hello, did your support call result in a resolution?
I have the same error and cant use online backup anymore.
In the winsxs folder there are several versions of vc80 because there are microsoft updates and security patches on this product.
It seems that ATIH is only suitable for a particular version of vc80 and when it is redirected to another version, it will not work.
In my case, the manifest files redirect all VC80 requestst to version 8.0.50727.6195 and that is what is giving the error, but it is the latest version and includes a security update from microsoft.
Why is ATIH not capable of dealing with updates on the vc80 versions?

1) This thread (and the forum section) is about ABR console, not True Image home. 2) MSVCR80.dll is listed as the offending module in the case of unhandled exception anywhere in the program, and is not necessary caused by incompatibility. There are a lot of people who runs it with the latest runtime updates.
