Can password be removed from a "protected" archive?

I created a new Plan a couple of weeks ago and configured it with a password under "Archive Protection". However, I have decided I would rather have Backup Cataloging enabled instead.

Is there a way to remove the password from the Full and incremental files? Or will I have to start with a new Full backup?

I checked if export can do it, and apparently not - "If the original archive is encrypted, the password is used to encrypt the resulting archive.". So most likely the answer is no.
