Blue Screen in Windows XP after Migrating to True Image Home 2009 Build 9809 from Build 9709

Windows XP boots. I can start Acronis True Image 2009 Home application.

But when I go to the Arconis "Tasks and Log" screen, Windows XP terminates with a blue screen.

What is the problem with Build 9809 in Windows XP?

I said Windows XP which is/was a typo. It's Windows Vista. And sometimes you can't even start Acronis True Image 2009 Home Build 9809 without Vista terminating with a blue screen.

I have Acronis True Image 2012 with build 6154 the most recent. When I try to back up Acronis causes a Blue Screen and I shut down. I have received NO HELP from Acronis other that an automated response telling me that an update usually fixes things. To add insult to injury they charged my credit card for a new one year subscription in December of 2011, but the online help says my subscription has expired! Does anyone know of a good backup program, as I am ready to dump this piece of crap as it is not worth my time to continue to screw with such a poor company that has taken my money and gives back nothing. If I sound a little angry, guess what? I am.
