Should I buy 2012 Home or Backup and Recovery 11

Thread needs solution

I've tried to read everything and the comparisons, but what is more reliable ? it seems there the same. I have 4 computers at my Home Office (3 HP and 1 Dell that i just bought) and have a USB 3.0 WD Passport SES drive and the new comps have USB 3.0 too. I'm wondering whats better to buy but more importantly the diff, Backup and Recovery 11 Workstation more than ATI Home 2012.. i see so so many people complaining about 2012 but not so much about Workstation. So is there a diff between the two and do you think Backup and Recovery Workstation is better to get ? Will the Bootable Backup Media understand USB 3.0 ? or will have to use a USB 2.0 port which is not a big deal just wondering with you pros :) Also whats the easiest and fastest way to purchase Acronis ? (and best price of couse is important lol)

The one i am asking about is Home 2012 vs Backup and Recovery Workstation 11. I want to get the Add-On Universal Restore just in case. I would like to hear from people who have had success with either product. I used the older versions but now i have Windows 7 64 bit and that is what i need to backup (4 computers). Do you think the backup media has all the drivers, like i just bought a new Dell XPS and it makes me wonder and also i bought WD 3.0 portable Passport external HD to backup the Acronis. If you guys can help it would be awesome i loved Acronis before they changed their GUI and so much i hear that 2012 is messed but how about you guys who have had good luck i'm NOT doing RAID or complicated etc just backup and restore but because the comps are new for example the Dell XPS 8300 it might have a new driver Mass Storage etc. Do you guys/gals think it's better for me to get the Backup and Recovery Workstation 11 vs Home 2012 ? Thanks.

Hello Randy,

Thank you for your interest in our software.

Depending on your needs you can chose either one because these two products have different features.

Please take a look at this article for detailed information.

You can download a trial version of Acronis True Image 2012 Home from this link, and Acronis Backup and Recovery 11 Workstation from this one. Acronis True Image 2012 Home trial works for 30 days, and Acronis Backup and Recovery 11 Workstation will work for 15 days. We offer technical support for the duration of the trial period via chat or e-mail.

I would recommend trying out both trial versions to see how they perform in your environment. This way you will also be able to try the bootable media and see if it it works with your hardware.

Thank you.
