Failed to backup file or folder

Thread needs solution

Hi,
When I choose to back up my files, I can never back up the whole thing. My files are about 30 gigs, and Acronis keeps on trying to back up up 232 gigs.
I've attached the screen shot of the error message.

What am I doing wrong?

As best I can tell from the posting, it appears that
1. The system restore points are causing the backup to fail.
2. The type of backup that is being done is "create full backup archive" which would imply that the entire disk (all contents) is being included in the backup.232GB

A. If you stop the Windows System restore which would delete all the checkpoints such as those being included in the backup.
Or you can keep the restore points and exclude the folder containing the restore points. Check this link for how to exclude the checkpoints from the backup.

If you wish to do a "files only" backup, choose the "files only" backup and exclude the restore points as per the link.
