Dont write Bootwiz on USB Stick - OS Selector 2012

Thread needs solution

Hello
how can I prevent that each new volume (USB or Harddisk) write a BOOTWIZ File
and prevent that
OS Selector each new Volume want to mount as a Unknown Operating System.

Background:
1. from every forgotten USB Stick, OS selector will Boot
2. often i have to check Harddisks with bad data or bad sectors for Data Recovery
in this reason OS hang, because the bad tracks on the disk.

With best regards .-)

There isn't any way to prevent it except to disable OSS before connecting the drive.

If the drive is connected while Windows is running, OSS may not write to it, but it definately will on reboots or if OSS is started.
