Oh it's ver 11.

I have used Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation before and Acronis Backup and recovery 11 is nothing like it.

I would like to transfer my entire hard idsk with partition and operating system to a larger hard disk Can any one telle me how to clone and what are the step I suppose to do before doing the actual cloning. Thanks

I am using Window XP I have a 80 gb IDE hd want to clone a 120 GB IDE hd to be the new drive on my laptop

Acronis True Image Home 2011 (ATIH11) disk cloning feature s under "Tools & Utilities" Launch the application and click "Tools & Utilities" in the upper right corner.

Georges: You'll need to perform a full partition backup to an external storage device, such as an external hard drive. Then create Acronis Bootable Media so you can boot to the restoration utility after you replace your hard drive with the new one. Then boot to the media and perform a restore to the new drive.

I've not done a restoration to a different hard drive than what I backed up from before, so I believe that's how it works anyway. You may need the Plus Pack to install to the new drive since it's different hardware.

Hello
When the system is booted with ABR11 boot CD, click Disk management > Right-click the disk > Clone basic disk. If you need more info, try http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11/index.html#1520.html
