Acronis Media CD will not boot on Gateway LX6810-01 System

Thread needs solution

I have been using Acronis True Image 9/10 for a couple of years. It works great. I have tested the media boot disk on several systems to make sure that it could recover the data. No problems, until yesterday. I have been making image backups for six months on my Gateway LX6810-01 computer (quadcore 8200 multimedia system). Yesterday I tried the boot disk and it consistently fails with

Starting Acronis Loader
Acronis Loader: No Configuration File Present
Press Enter to reboot

I have also tried creating the loader from the .iso file and have also tried creating a USB storage key version. Same results. It must have something to do with Bios timing. I have booted several linux live cdroms on this system without problems.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to make this work. Thanks.

Hello Arnold,

I understand the issue and will do my best to solve it. The source of the issue is lack of drivers under Acronis bootable disc. I have sent you special ISO image via PM. Download and create Acronis bootable disc, it will solve the issue.

You can find more information on how to burn an ISO image to a CD at:
