SBS 2011 Standard crashes with Acronis Backup and Recovery 11

Thread needs solution

Please can anyone help with an issue that I am having with Acronis B and R 11. Whenever Acronis is started, the server crashes after a short period of time. Anywhere from immediately to a few hours, but it always crashes. The Server is an HP ML6 with 16Gb RAM running a domain of 6 users.

Any advice would be appreciated, as it locks so completely each time it crashes, that there is no option other than to pull the power cord out to unlock it which is never good on a domain server

Does it crash to BSOD or locks up? 'Acronis started' means backup operation starts scheduled or manually, right?

We have seen BSOD's as well as super slow backups to the point the network locks ups all together during off peak hours. We are not happy at all with Acronis, support is not that good, hard to deal with and slow. They don't even take detailed notes of all the issues we face with this product. $1000's invested and it's a huge mess in our experience.

robuk1964, I did not find any Support cases in our system, we would really appreciate if you could provide us with an update.
