Errors being reported on new Install
I just finished installing Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Update 3 (with Universal Restore) (Build 10.0.12497) on a Windows 2003 Server SP2). On the network I have a Buffalo LinkStation NAS. On this device I created a folder share giving the Domain Administrator full access. Before configuring a backup I verified that the Administrator had full access to this folder share.
On the Server I mapped a drive to this new folder share, then I created a Personal Vault pointing to this mapped drive. I created a new Full Backup Plan of the C:\ drive on this Server pointing to this Personal Vault. The only backup options I selected were for an email notification. I manually ran the backup. The backup immediately failed with the following errors:
Task 'Full backup ('once later' scheme)' failed: 'Failed to open the metadata directory.

Completely uninstalling and reinstalling is not a small task. I am having this same problem with the recent ABR11 release, but only on 2/15 backup plans. Are there any alternatives to fixing this?
