Acronis Backup and recovery 10 Management server

Thread needs solution

Okay i got a question
i got this scenario

Hyper V Server
Inside it 3 Virtual machines.

It is possible to install the Acronis backup and recovery on a new virtual mahcin in that hyper V server?

I mean having it this way

Hyper V server
3 virtual machines
1 virtual machine= here installing the ACronis backup and recovery 10

Installing the hyper v agent on the physical server hyper V
and protect :

Hyper V server
the 4 virtual machines including the virtual machine that has the acronis backup and recovery 10

I got a advanced virtual server license...

Now i got it installed on the hyper V but i would like to move it to a virtual machine... also sometimes wheni have to fix something on the acronis i have to reboot and then i have to turn off all the virtual machines and then reboot the server... which is troublesome... and i would prefer it having it on the virtual machine, but im not sure if that is possible or if it possible i would like to know if it not recommended and why? or its okay and there is no issue with it.

Thank in advance

backup and recovery 10 is a product. What you're going to install inside one of VMs is called Management Server, as you mentioned in subject, aka AMS. It's possible.

Then you can't install Agent for Hyper-V as it requires Virtual Edition license. Advanced server license will allow you to backup 4 virtual machines on the same host, but you'll have to install agents inside them.

okay im not understanding you completely
I dont have advanced server licence i just got Acronis Backup&Recovery Advanced Server Virtual Edition If i got this license its possible?
I think you though i had a advanced server licence but i got a Acronis Backup&Recovery Advanced Server Virtual Edition

To summary
Hyper V server
4 virutal machines in it

one of the virtual machine will have the installation of the ABR10 i mean i would install this:
1-License server
2-Agent for windows
3-bootable media builder
4-management console
5-managment server
6-Storage node
7-tray monitor
8-uniiversal restore

ON the hyper V which has the virtual machines
i would install
1-Agent for hyper V

I want to backup
the 4 virtual machines
and They hyper v server

with just the Acronis Backup&Recovery Advanced Server Virtual Edition license

Right now im able to do that IF i install everything on the hyper V physical server but i want to move it to a virtual machine INSIDE the hyper v which has the virtual machines....

Sorry, initially I missed the word 'virtual' in your post. It's possible with the license you have.

one of the virtual machine will have the installation of the ABR10 i mean i would install this:
1-License server
3-bootable media builder
4-management console
5-managment server
8-uniiversal restore

ok

2-Agent for windows
7-tray monitor

What for? You are going to backup all them using Agent for Hyper-V installed on the host. And if you don't have Agent for Windows installed, you don't need tray monitor.

6-Storage node

As you do not have deduplicated vaults, this is more or less ok. (Else it would be strictly not ok). But backup of the hyper-v host itself and the virtual machine containing the ABR10 installation should go to unmanaged vault, or else you will have problems in case of bare-metal recovery. If you don't have managed vaults at all, you don't need to install Storage Node.

ON the hyper V which has the virtual machines
i would install
1-Agent for hyper V

And Agent for Windows as in ABR10 Agent for Hyper-V can be installed only after it.

I forgot asking
IS this deployment im trying to do okay? or is not recommended for any reason?
