Killing dllhost.exe

After two weeks of ATIH running without a problem, it failed this morning:

As I've mentioned when this has happened in the past, it is a little annoying that it doesn't say *what* file it is trying to access. But: the KB link in the event log error DID get me to a kb article and I was following the 'what to do' and I found a process that had a .tib file open:
dllhost.exe \device\mup\merino-nas\backups\dellbackup_2012_03_20_0100.tib

Procexp says the process was started at 10:14 last night which is odd, since the backup only runs at 1AM. That file turns out to be the full backup against which today's incremental was run.

Is it safe to kill dllhost.exe? I'd rather not reboot but that's probably safest, I guess...
