Online backup is running?

Thread needs solution

Hello;

have made an online backup from laptop to NAS; after starting windows this online backup strats as well but the pictogram keeps saying 'Aconis tur image home: 0% voltooid (=dutch for established). Does this mean that the online backup does not run?

Because, when I want to restore a previous version of a file (right mouse-button), the message is 'No previous versions'.

Please some support, greetings Rudy

System: Windows 7, 64 bit; NAS = QNAP TS 219P, THIH 202 latest version

Do yu have an active subscription. Did your backup complete (you can check the log)?

Hello Scott;

Sorry for my late reaction, but I very appriceate your support!
The log says that the online-backup was succesfull, but I cannot restore a file: not with the restore-option in the properties of a file (get the message 'no previous versions'), nor can I open the online-backup with the Windows-explorer. Also I cannot add the .tib-file to the list of backup-files, and whan I click on the .tib-file via ATIH, nothing happens.
So, how on earth can I restore a file? By calling a voodoo-priest maybe?

Greetings, Rudy

Rudy,
Scott has asked some good questions. I am not clear on what you're doing? Are you backing up to local NAS (QNAP) on your home/business network, or are you using Acronis online back up? I'm sure the confusion for me is the terminology being used (NAS vs. online).

"Aconis tur image home: 0% voltooid" (Completed). This message is normal. True Image is not always able to estimate the total time or actual progress while a task is running. As Scott suggested, please confirm the log files indicate that a scheduled task completed successfully. If so, you should attempt to manually browse to the share where your back up is being saved locally. If you are using Acronis Online Back Up for storage, this will not apply and you need to clairify for us.

\\[sharename]\[folder]\[backups] Are you able to do this?

Thanks

Hello ShadowSports/ Scott;

Excuse me for not being clear: I use the ATIH online Backup wich creates a backup on a NAS (QNAP). The log-file shows a lot of errors but also good backups, so I cling on that sometimes there must be a good backup.
The errors occuring are:
1. Eventcode: 0x00040003+0x0000FFF0+0x80070040
2. Eventcode: 0x000101F6+0x00070004+0x00040003+0x0000FFF0+0x80070040
3. Eventcode: 0x0064023C+0x0064028A+0x00040014+0x0000FFF0+0x800704C3
4. Eventcode: 0x006B0000
5. Eventcode: 0x00040009
6. Eventcode: 0x0000FFF0+0x00000000
7. Eventcode: 0x013C0005
8. Eventcode: 0x00640293+0x00E4003A+0x00E40007+0x000B007F+0x000003E9+0x001703EC
9. !!!!!ERRROR: BufferedStreamReadOnlyImpl::ReadFromFile()
10. Eventcode: 0x00040002

You see, a lot of errors!! Why, beats me. I just open/close my laptop (= to be backupped), the NAS is allways on. So I think that by restarting Windows, ATIH resumes the online-backup, but I'm not sure because till now I haven't restored a file sucesfully, is not very reassuring for me....

And when I manually go to the .tib file (for attaching the online-backup to the 'list of backups'), I get the next Error-Eventcode:
Eventcode: 0x0101000D+0x01010005+0x01010005+0x000B007F+0x000003E9+0x001703EC+0x00040002. And also, by doing this, Windows freezes completely for 30 seconds and after that ATIH is not responding for 60 seconds.

Anyway, it's not the end of the world but this ATIH-queeste can be somewhat annoying, don't you agree?

Greetings, Rudy
