Failed to read data from the disk

Thread needs solution

I received the attached message each time I attempted to start a backup. Quit and restarted ATIH, after which I no longer received the error message. Any idea what might have caused it?

(I've run numerous checks on the backup drive--none have found any problems.)

Hello Bob,

Thank you for reporting about the issue.

This issue might be related to the snapapi drivers as well. Please try installing the update from this KB article, and see if the issue remains (nevermind the issue description, all we need from this article is a link to SnapAPI).

If it does, please send me Acronis System Report from the problem machine, and Acronis Disk Report. These logs should show us the cause of the problem.

Thanks Yana. If the problem recurs, I'll do that. At this point it only happened one time until I quit and restarted ATIH. I probably shouldn't have even wasted your time reporting it until/unless it recurred.
