Vault & Storage Node Availability - Not Working

Thread needs solution

I can't access My Vaults and the Storage Node Availability says - Withdrawn
Clicking on my Vault results in "Failed to connect with Storage Node"
The backups are (seem) to be running. Which is very strange.
I've searched the KB articles and no joy.

Can anyone help?

I've tried to change the access account logon to several different admin accounts and it still says Withdrawn.

Hi Walter

I've done a search on the term 'withdrawn' in the product manual and found the following section that might be of use to the issue you face:
http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11/index.html#2795.html

Here is a snip from the manual:
“Withdrawn - the storage node was registered on another management server. As a result, it is not possible to control the node from the current management serve”

So it sounds like you might have more than one management server on your network and the storage node has been loaded/assigned to another management server.

P.S. Generally most people only have 1x management server on their network which monitors and controls all their agents/storage nodes..etc..etc.. I would also suggest removing any unneeded management servers to avoid confusion. Note if you have a larger install and need to spread the load of the storage nodes you can install as many as you like and link them to the single management server to keep track of (storage nodes do not require any licensing but most only need one installed)

Hope that helps.

Hy, We have the same problem , 1 X in the week the Storage nodes are " Withdrawn. But how can i find the " other AMS Server.
I will find the guy that play whit this.

I just got this problem yesterday as well. All of my client machines as well as the storage node suddenly decided that there was another management server and started reporting that they were "registered on another management server". Thing is - I have no other management server on this network!

I was able to get all the clients back by removing and readding them.

How can I do this with the storage nodes??

Never mind; doing a "remove" storage node just removes it from the management server, and all its data was still there when I added it back.

All good.

Not sure why this happened, though -- I didn't make any kind of change to the system, but it was really sudden yesterday afternoon, when nobody was even logged on to the system.
