Drivemonitor hängt externe USB 3.0 Festplatte ab

Thread needs solution

What brand is your USB 3.0 caddy?

What build of DriveMonitor are you using?

Do you have any other Acronis products installed?

Mike, it may also be relevant what filter drivers are installed in the system, if another user has the same problem.

Please run the following commands and then paste the output from notepad to this thread.
If you e.g. have an AntiVirus software installed, it's driver names will be also shown in addition to Acronis and Microsoft drivers.

fltmc >> filters.txt
reg query HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} /v UpperFilters >> filters.txt
reg query HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} /v LowerFilters >> filters.txt
reg query HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F} /v UpperFilters >> filters.txt
reg query HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F} /v LowerFilters >> filters.txt
notepad filters.txt

In addition to the build number of used Acronis products, please also check if stopping all Acronis services helps.
If yes retry with only "Acronis Scheduler2 Service" started, which is needed by Acronis Drive Monitor.

Here is a batch file to run the above code.

Download it to your desktop and rename it by removing the _.txt ending, then just double click on it. This is for Vista and Windows 7, if you are using XP rename the .CMD to .BAT

I use Drivemonitor 1.0.566. Same problem after new installation.
Other product: True Image Home 2012.
My external device is Verbatim 1 TB with a Toshiba MK1059GSM.
When the problem occurs I even get errors reading the other harddisks. Without external drive no problem.
When I end the drivemonitor the problem still occurs. After uninstall it is solved.
