Build 6154 says " This product has not been installed properly" when I try the 'Update' choice
I have uninstalled and reinstalled.
I have used the cleanup tool. Although after that one and despite carefully following the directions, I was unable to boot my Win-7 computer and needed to emergency load the disk-backup which build 6154 had made.
How do I proceed to install 7119 if I can't get 6154 to uninstall or install correctly?

Are you using the auto update download or the full installer from your account?
I tried the auto-update form pulling down the ?-Icon (Help) and chose Check For Updates message seen in the attached jpeg
I have already tried D/L from My-Account and it wouldn't install.
As to your now solved non booting problem, did you have the SZ installed or the Acronis Start up Manager activated? These need to be de-activated if uninstalling TIH, also if the PlusPack is installed this also should be uninstalled prior to uninstalling TIH.
I am not sure about either. I am not sure what either does.
PlusPack would never install because of the original error, about TIH
Services: I see Acronis Non-Stop (never used it)
Acronis Schedular 2 Service

I have the same problem ("This program has not been installed correctly") with my installation in Win 7, 64 bit. I have installed update 2.1 (build 7133) twice!

Well, I guess I'll have to throw Acronis out since I can't get a response. I no longer trust Acronis for backups!

Hi there,
Did you try to uninstall, apply the clean up utility found here http://kb.acronis.com/content/24545 (follow all instructions carefully. In particular do not let the utility reboot your computer: complete the last 2 steps before rebooting).
Reboot.
Then install the latest build.
Note that if you have the Plus Pack installed, you need to uninstall the Plus pack before uninstalling ATI. Install the Plus Pack corresponding to your build afterwards.
If you still have issues, use msconfig to create a clean boot environment before you reboot the computer. Launch msconfig, go to the services tab, disable all non microsoft services. Then to go to the startup tab and disable all startup items. Upon successful install, launch msconfig and select normal startup on the first tab.
