Copy and paste recognize and restore the .tib files
I have copied the previously created with Acronis True Image Home 2011 single version .tib file from internal HD to external USB hard drive so I could have some redundancy. But Acronis program wouldn't add this copied .tib file to its backup list after pointed to it. Why?

Yes, it can be done from the rescue media, but I should be able to do it in Windows environment from Acronis True Image Home>browse for backup>add to backup list a *.tib file.
My question to you is: why I am unable to do so from within Windows?
Also, the file has been added to the list of backups from the rescue disk, and Acronis True Image Home under Windows lists it in a main window, but the Acronis True Image Home is stating that this file isn't backed up yet, so basically everything I want to do with this .tib file has to be done from the boot disk.

The "not backed up yet" message are totally meaningless and should be ignored. They've been totally misleading at best since the started showing up about 5 or so versions ago. Sometimes the only mean, no scheduled backup has been run by schedule. sometimes it reflects only that the tibs are orphaned from the task--which is a confusion in the ati database.
