Seeking suggestions for Home NAS Backup

Thread needs solution

I have ATIH 2012 build 7119 installed.
At home I use a D_link DNS-343 with four 2TB HDD's in a RAID5, providing roughly 6TB. Not all of this is used but roughly 3TB is.
I have regulaly run OffSite Backups for the Local HDD's in the PC, and as these are less than 2TB, this works EXTREMELY well.
When it comes to taking a Backup for OffSite storage of the, roughly 3TB of NAS storage, I've hit a snag.
I can purchase a 2TB SATA HDD and use that for OffSite storage, but it is obvious that 2TB is too small. I appreciate that 3TB HDD's are coming available, but at present these have some implementation issues (mostly to do with how BIOS's handle them), that make them NOT an attractive option.
The Mapped NAS folder is the convient point from which to perform the Backup, but as I've stated there is 3TB of data to be backed up. The type and organisation of the data means it is NOT sensible to split across Mulitple NAS Share points (which would make this task MUCH easier, as I could then back up to multiple OffSite 2TB HDD's).

So, I'm seeking suggestions on how others tackle the issue of Backing up Large quantities of NAS Data for OffSite storage.

Greetings Paul,
This is a challenge. I am sitting next to a NAS 200 and DNS-323, 1TB and 4TB respectively. You are going to have issues if you can't break up the data somewhere.

Google: rsync

Synology and Qnap are respectable NAS storage device manufacturers. FWIW

Shadow,
Firstly thanks for the confirmation.
I was hoping that I could avoid "breaking" the Folder structure, but it does seem to be the only solution.

I also note that you have Corsair Force III SSD's. So hope you won't mind answering me this question.
I have a long standing Support call open with Acronis. Basically I read in the Forums that Locally connected USB Drives were NOT accessible during the Linux Boot Recovery Session, and the only solution was to use WinPE to access Local USB drives. The Local USB Drives hold the Acronis backups.
So I purchased the Plus Pack and have created a WinPE Boot CD for Recovery, but when I try to use it, the Acronis Application fails at 0x00766632. I suspect it may be because my PC has a Corsair Force III SSD as the C: drive.
So my question is, have you tried a simple File recovery from a WinPE Boot session to a Corsair SSD?

regards
Paul

Hi Paul,
I have two identical machines in my sig. The corsairs are in RAID 0 on the z68 controller. No issues whatsoever accessing the array from windows or from bootable recovery media builds 5545, 6154 or 7119.

Locally connected USB drives. Have used with 5545, 6154 and 7119 bootable media.  No problems accessing the source .tib's on USB or destination SSD's.  I have tested with WD and Seagate externals.  I've also browsed a dreaded Patriot USB stick in windows and under bootable media, but this was only under 5545 and 6154.  I assume 7119 will work too.

I'm sorry, but I haven't tried the WinPE boot disk.  Haven't needed it - luckily.

Your error 0x00766632 didn't come back with any hits  on the Smart Error Report lookup.  I suspect there is more to the error?

I don't know where your case is with support, but I can say that there are a bunch of really great people here (community members) who volunteer their time helping others.  A good group, friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
