no bootable volume found with ATIH 2011

Thread needs solution

Hello,
this week I bought ATIH 2011 at amazon. After installation on WinXP Home (SP3) on a compac nc6320 TI tells me, that it didn't detect any bootable volume, which is the volume on which TI is installed. And when I thought 'oh, lets use the 30-days-installation-support' acronis tells me:
1. the support will end on September the 30th (today is 31 August - fine :) )
2. their is no support for this version :(

What can I do? Can anybody help me?

Regards,
Georg Doll

ATI 2011 is now a 2-year old version. ACronis just released ATI 2013.

The first thing is to make sure you have the latest build of 2011. Go to Acronis.com, create an account, register your serial numbers, go to the product download area, download the latest build.

Uninstall 2011, reboot, install the latest build.

If this doesn't solve your problem, your disk controller or disk type is not supported by 2011. If I were you, I would get my money back ASAP and test the latest version.

Thanks for your advice!
It is the latest version - I made the download option before installation ... and of course I registered the software because I hoped to get support there first. Seems you are right, it will not work. Crazy! Why doesn't Acronis warn about such known issues or even stop the selling of older versions if they don't work and such serious errors didn't get fixed anymore? Btw ... it is an Intel ATAPI controller, seems not to be something extremely special ...
