How can you compare the backup with the original disks?

I want to check the backup disks to ensure that all desired files are being backed up. How can I do this? I would hate to accept that everything is working fine only to be very upset if the backup is not complete...

You can mount a partition backup and browse it to check your files. You could also start the restore process and browse through that.

If you did a partition backup all the files on the partition should be in the backup (unless you excluded any).
