Can't access existing tib backup via boot disk
I have a full backup of my main Win 7 installation I am trying to recover/restore.
Via the acronis startup cd I can find the backup and select it.
However...I am getting an error message saying something like Acronis can not find (searching) for 1st volume of backup ?!!
This back up was validated upon creation and validates now without issue ?
Under Explore & Recover in Win 7...it is classed as a full backup...not incremental ?
I can mount volume in Win 7 explorer without issues
What is this missing volume and how can I get the boot disk to restore this full backup !!??

I don't think so. Seems there have been some others on the forum that experienced this as well. I believe that the Acronis Rescue Media looks at the database on your hard disk to list the backups. Although they are listed they are not awlays located on the same drive letters as when they are listed in Windows and this creates the issue you described when trying to restore from one on the listed items. I always browse for backup files when doing restores, so it is not an issue for me, but is very disconcerting for users that are not aware of why the restore process can't find the backups that are listed. Seems to me, it would work better if you were forced to browse, then there would be no confusion.
