True Image Home 2010 Automatic Consolidation Question

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I've searched the archives and haven't found an answer to my Automatic Consolidation question. I'm doing weekly full backups and didn't check the "A new full backup overwrites the previous one" option. The Automatic Consolidation option is Number of backups exceeds 3. I have changed the scheduling day and time options a couple of times. The original day was Saturday, and I changed it to Tuesday after the first backup completed. I later changed the time of the backup. I currently have five backup files in my backup archive folder. Is the reason that the backup files are not being deleted due to the fact I've made changes to the backup schedule? I couldn't find anything in the documentation that mentions that changes to the schedule will cause problems with Automatic Consolidation.

If yo want to change a backup task, delete the original and create a new one. this will also delete any related existing backups so move those off the PC is you want to keep them.

Thanks, Scott.
Because I may upgrade to TI 2013 I read the 2013 User Guide last night to see how this was addressed. There seems to be a lot of changes between TI 2010 and TI 2013. I did notice that the 2013 User Guide mentions if a custom backup scheme is changed, you should use Save As to create a new custom backup scheme. Thanks again for clarifying this function.
